Congratulations Jerry

Best in Class and Best Educational Display
Jerry was recognized at the World Conference in
Florida 2008. A
lot of work went into developing a huge display and the judges were impressed.

Fraser Valley Show 2006
Laurie and Harry and Nan put together a grand display again.
Thanks to Jerry and Jill for transporting plants and
baby sitting the display.
It always amazes me how many plants Jerry can fit in
his van (It must be expert planning).
The growers from the hick town Nanaimo (and area), ran off with
the honours again.
I wonder if we should suggest that the judging centre be
moved to Nanaimo where the best plants are.

Harry had the best plant at the show, winning 91 points and a
CCE award for his
Phrag. Andean Fire "Nanaimo".
How often does that high a rating get awarded?
(answer, not very often. A very special award !!!)
Jerry had the close second best plant, winning an
HCC
with
78 points
on his Miltonia Anne
Warne "Black Creek".

Those were the only awarded
plants at the show.
I suggest that speaks volumes
to the dedication and efforts of two of our experienced growers.
